Two kiddos now and toys have been taking over the house. Been home on baby leave and can’t sit still so let’s remedy this...

First up, goodbye coat closet hello toy closet. Simple shelves made with 5/4 pine.

Painted an accent color in the playroom and going to put up two shelves..
Never built a floating shelf before. How bout a red hot go at two 8’ oaks

Bluebirds down here, they like them a little deeper, but it’s all all I had.

Does anyone know if a 25° French cleat will suffice?
Tried to minimize the width of the cut to stuff it all into 1 3/4”

What kind/type of screws do you all use to mount flat plate casters?

I have some nice, heavy duty casters from Rockler. They have holes that will fit 1/4" screws.

In the past, I have successfully used #10 screws with a washer, but would like to find a strong, short (3/4"), thick (#10, 1/4") screw with a pan or washer head.

    Any suggestions?
