It has finally happened. After running through the car wash I saw some drops in my rear view. Felt the liner and it was wet. Do they sell the just the gasket? Can only find a whole new light in my searches.

G’morning pa folkians. Hope you boys and girls enjoy sometime off this weekend. I gotta soon get ready for work . 8-2 today. Then, I’m not sure. I’ll be taking the boys to brother joes tomorrow for some fun stuff. Have a buddy coming over with his son and a quad and dirt bike. Joes kids also have quads  they’ll putzing around in the trails and we’ll probably be splitting wood or pulling fallen trees out to the woods.

They have this new device called a Freezer you put things in remember them 6 months or longer and throw them out.

It seems I do this on a constant basis.

A Hilux in that generation would be equivalent to the Toyota Pickup that came before the tacoma. We don't get a Hilux in the States.

It definitely is for me. It will only ever see minimal time off pavement which is kind of a shame being what it is. It's too clean to mess up. Don't even know if I'll risk the salt.

Thanks Craig. Order sent. Now if only the budget allowed for gears, rcv axles and 2.5 kings. For now the front end refresh will have to be maintenance minded.

I just want to say, I just left PA yesterday (work related) and I have a new understanding of the term salt.

@Taco critter how you’ve managed to keep that truck from turning to red dust is amazing.

Not only does all that PA salt do a number of your truck, it also does a number on the roads. Dodging potholes is another challenge to keep the vehicle intact.

    Good Morning PA folks.
Wow 4 months old already John. Time sure does go by. Next week she'll be asking for the keys to the Tacoma . Not that soon, but soon enough. Enjoy every minute with her you can.

    Have a great day all.
