I have a 2015 DCSB and my boat trailer lights are giving me trouble. i have both turn signals and the brake lights but do have the night time running lights. i was told to check my fuses but none are blown. i was told there were 2 fuse boxes one under the hood which i have checked and another under the glove box but i cant find it. has anyone else had this problem?

4 pin or 7 pin harness on your truck? Do you have a multimeter? Start with getting a pinout of your connector and check the pins (disconnected from the trailer) on the truck side.

Trailer wiring on most trailers I've used(borrowed) is in terrible condition. Make sure your truck wiring is intact and functions correctly, then you can move to the trailer.

    Reserected from the dead.
There is a converter box on your truck. It's most likely gone bad.

Before you go digging for converter boxes did you check the wiring at the plug? Does it work right?

It's at the driverside kick panel. If you already checked the plug and something isn't working right there.

Interior fuse box is behind the little compartment to the left and below the steering wheel.

The Towing Tail is under the hood.
    Fuse 9 - 30A
Make sure it is actually there.
You wouldn’t be the first to check all the fuse and find them all good.
Then find out you were missing the fuse.

    Just a thought......

Before you go digging for bigger issues, you might try the bulbs on the trailer.

Boat trailers are known for water getting into the wire harness & lights.

Start simple, work to the more complex.
