    BACKSTORY
My dream truck for as long as I can remember has been clearly defined in my mind. I needed an access cab, the perfect middle ground of all the trucks in my opinion. V6, the 4 banger is simply too slow. Manual, because I’m a fanboy and I refuse to daily drive an automatic. It was not easy to find. Everything we found was either well over 100k miles or way over budget. This is a rare truck to begin with, so to find one affordable with low miles would be a miracle, until this came along.

Meet the 2009 access cab, V6, 6 Speed TRD sport in Barcelona red metallic. Basically my dream truck. Got her with only 72,000 miles! The truck came from a private seller in Ohio who was clearly a fellow enthusiast.

It had quite a few stickers on various windows, along with running boards and a CB radio. The best part is the TRD Pro wheels wrapped in 265/70/17 all terrains. First order of business was removing all the stickers, which I stuck back in the bed, and removing the chrome side steps. I also took off the wind deflectors they had stuck onto the paint. My excitement at this point was through the roof, I had so many cheap projects to do on my dream truck. I have now run out of cheap projects and it is getting expensive quickly!

Thanks man. I wasn’t a huge fan of the red at first but it’s really grown on me. Looks so good in different lighting!

I could see that for sure. It's a sharp color.
