I posted this in the technical forum, but so far have not gotten more than the equivalent response of “You’ll shoot your eye out kid!”, so here it goes...

Anyone have any thoughts on how to wire a “kill switch” that would at the very least kill my brake and reverse lights, and possibly all external lights? This would only be used when off road and driving with night vision. TIA!

And, yes, I’m aware I could pull fuses, but I don’t want to go that route every time.

NVG set up for what its worth...

Personally wouldn't eff with the brake lights. "You'll shoot your eye out kid!"

Dont know off hand, but Id think interrupting the backup lights should be easy enough if you can get the wiring dwg

    Child trafficking actually.

Sadly, this appears to be the most accurate response yet.

If you had a ‘96 Tacoma, this might be a bit easier. But you have a 2019. There is so much tech in modern vehicles and so much is being controlled through computers. Trying to kill every light on your truck with a single switch will be extremely difficult, and will most likely result in a Christmas tree of dash lights and error codes being thrown.
