Need help with drive shaft angles

    I’m assuming they taper a degree for every inch of lift meaning roughly a 2.5” degree taper. If I replace it with a flat block my number theoretically would be closer to the 8.8 I’m trying to achieve, right? However, I still may need a small shim fat side forward like you’re saying.

    only one way to find out. Haha

    I have a wixey digital inclinometer on its way this week. I’m going to remove my drive shaft next weekend and get accurate measurements of all angles and go from there.

    You need to check how your current blocks are mounted and direction of taper. If they're installed tall-side forward you'll need a block with additional taper. If they are installed tall-side rearward, your proposed flat blocks should work.

    They are installed with the smaller side forward. Okay, I’ll try out the flat block option
