Glitch in autolights

    2021 Army Green Tacoma TRD Off Road
    I use the auto headlights. I was making a 3 mile trip. As I approached my destination, my panel went dark and my headlights and fog lights went out. I switched the position on the stalk from the auto position to the headlight position and the auto lights resumed. When I got home I put the stalk back in the auto position and it was working again. My truck is about 2 months old and has about 1500 miles on it. Is there any explanation for this glitch?
