I'm married, with many other expensive hobbies.

    So...

You should'a seen the look on my wife's face when I was fresh out of surgery and I said I wanted a new dirtbike (to replace the thing that broke my wrists). Let's just say it wasn't "sure honey"...

How do you think we feel? In order to get there comfortable it's a 2-3 day trip. Sure we can cannonball it in 24 hours but damn. Now this is driving to you not flying
    About right.

Was a 34hr or so drive each way; I've done it 4 times to Chitown from CA.

The thing is, none of us want to go to IN

OK, @Speedytech7, @Empty_Lord or anyone else that might know.

1st gen Tacoma with LT. Best way to convert to non-ADD? Manual hubs or just do the solid stub shaft conversion so it's like my non-ADD 4Runner front diff?

I'm not aware of long travel manual hub axles...unless custom.

What part of the ADD are you trying to eliminate?

Could clamp the ADD tube to engaged or simply swap to the manual diff tube.

That's what I'm trying to find out. Buddy here in AZ with a first gen, @Ace115, is considering some sort of fix to eliminate ADD. He has LT already and recently had an issue with the ADD that prevented 4wd, or at least the front axle, from engaging. Thoughts are to eliminate the ADD possibly in the future.
