There are too many options for sliders and a wide range of cost.
I could get some Allpro from Summit Racing, local, and not have to wait. But I'm also coming from Shrockworks on my Xterra, and those I know can take a hell of a beating and don't let ya down. They take about 6 months to get from past experience.

So, does anyone that actually uses their rock sliders for more than a step have some input? I could care less about how easy it is for someone to use them as a step. I just want something I can use a high lift on, pivot the truck on them with a boulder, or smash them into a rock and not worry about it.

I may just go w Shrockworks because I know the product. But! I'm new to toyota and I'm open to other options.

    Thanks.

I think the challenge to getting your question answered, OP, is that few people if any have experience with multiple brands of rock sliders. You're likely to just get responses with n=1 experiences. What I suggest you do is decide on features you want like bolt-on or weld-on, kick-out or not kick-out, angle, filler plate or no filler plate, etc., find the one you want, and decide based on price, lead time, and shipping costs. Another possible consideration is compatibility with other mods you have or want.

I also suggest reading some of the myriad of n=1 reviews on this site.

You are more likely to get a good answer here if you ask a specific question about a particular product.

My n=1 is that I got the Mobtown Offroad bolt-on sliders and I am happy with them, but they took until fall 2019 to get when I ordered them in the spring of 2019.

Xo Fab in Washington. They do a diy slider kit, and I've had them on the 3 wheelers I've built, and have never been able to bend/dent with slamming the whole weight of the rigs on them. Put a set on my 3rd gen Tacoma aswell and they have held up great.

Hey which model sliders are these?
It's a little hard to tell - is there enough room to step on them to reach stuff that is stored in roof racks?

Those are standard 20 degree DCLB sliders and yes you can stand on them to get stuff off the roof. More so on the back doors.
