Me: Is your MGM TRD Pro still available? I called yesterday and somebody said some guy from California was about to make a deposit.

    Sales guy: Let me check.

Sales guy: Yup, it's still there. There are 4 negotiations going. Let me take your information.

    Me:

Sales guy: Oh wait, manager is waving his hand. Please hold on.

    Me:

Sales guy: Somebody just made deposit.

Me: Awesome! Screen Shot 2021-01-26 at 1.44.02 PM.jpg

Bought my 2020 MGM Pro from Greg LeBlanc in October 2019. Them and one of the NOLA Toyota dealers had the exact same MGM Pro at the time. Greg LeBlanc had the better deal and I lived in Houma at the time, so it was a win-win.

Congrats - nice ride. I'm considering "upgrading" my SR5 and just happened to come across the listing. I was checking on it over the last few days and wondered why no one was biting. Team Toyota at BTR just listed one this AM (black) - really looking for MGM. I'm in no hurry, just looking at what's out there.

    Done.

Traded in the SR5 and my "2ndary" DD, a Lexus CT 200h. Sales guy said the trades helped me with the tax, which is 10.5% (!) in our parish. Crazy high.

Now I have a truck that sorts of drive like a Lexus :)

    Enjoy the ride :)

Nice! Congratulations. What dealership is that? Doesn't look like Greg LeBlanc. Taxes in Louisiana were ridiculous. Although VA is not much better.

Team Toyota in BTR. The MGM at Greg LeBlanc literally sold while I was on the phone with a sales person, asking about trade-in estimates. I have been checking web sites for science, just to "sample" what's out there and noticed the MBM TRD Pro listed on Tuesday, if I'm not mistaken. I called dealership 1st thing Wed and asked if I can test drive, and asked "if it's a good fit, how much is the deposit?". Sales guy replies "we don't take deposits". So I came in and test drove and said my other trade is still back home, a good 3.5 hrs away. He said you can bring it on Saturday. I lost a few Ks on the trades: the cost of enjoying the ride?

Thanks. High tax rates but poorly maintained roads and bridges. If you drive a sport-tuned vehicle, you will not enjoy the ride. Anyways, we don't want to go there.

Seems the Pros are harder to come by now then when I was shopping around last year. Enjoy!!!

Thanks. I am. One of the folks at work came in and said I went from a redneck to a cool guy. LOL.

Unfortunately the Preaux in Houma sold while on was on the phone with a sales guy. I went instead to Baton Rouge; left home that morning in my SR5, came home late at night in a TRD Preaux.
