Where is everyone grounding their amps? I have a 4 gauge power wire running from battery but need to ground my amp. Wanting to mount it behind passenger rear seat. Back wall of double cab. 2015 TRD Sport.

    Thanks

Depending on how much power you're actually running through it you may want to have a return loop and ground it back to the negative post on the battery, if you're not running that many watts, pretty much anywhere you can get bare metal contact will work. Obviously better if it's something more solid, even a mounting bolt of one of the back seats would work.

Amp won't fit under the drivers or passengers seat?

I started with putting it under drivers seat. It’s a JL Audio M/700. It will fit but I didn’t like the way it sits on top of the floor vent. Also the airbag thing is in there and I didn’t want to interfere with that. I’m eventually going to put a sub behind passenger seat anyway so that’s where I decided to run everything.

Just pull the plastic vent extension and mount to the floor, ground to the OEM ground bolt under the seat.
