I have a 2015 TRD off road. Currently I have 2" spacer leveling kit in front and 1" block in rear. Truck sits pretty level but if I put any weight it the bed it looks like the rear is sagging. The leaf springs are pretty much completely flat. I am planning to have a camper shell installed.

I was thinking that a 2" AAL might be the best way to accommodate the increased load and prevent any rear sag in the future? (I would actually prefer the truck to have a little rake) I would be removing the 1" rear blocks and replacing them with the 2" AAL.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with using a 2" AAL to lift the rear and if they were successful in getting the desired lift? Also, I was wondering if adding the camper shell will even cause strain on the leaf springs and I should expect it to sag more over time?

TRD Pro suspension with Headstrong 3 Leaf AAL, DV8 OR front slimline bumper & Engine Skid Plate, RCI OR high clearance bumper, CaliRaised Trail Edition Sliders, Spidertrax 1.25" Wheel Spacers, 265/75 16 GY Duratracs, wrapped the OEM wheels, OR Roof Rack, Extang Exceed Hard top Tri fold tonneau.
If it was me, if I was adding a shell and carrying any weight, I would just replace the entire leaf pack. I added Headstrong’s 1,5” 3 leaf AAL and it settled to just under 1.25”.

If your leaf pack is essentially flat right now, an AAL won't do much good.

This is a great example, I'm not blaming you, on why I always recommend against leveling out a truck. Weight in back=sag

If you are adding a camper or just constant weight, I would get a brand new leaf pack. All Dogs Offload have two kinds of leaf packs for the Tacoma, one is $700-800 and allows you to configure it based upon your weight or they have one thats around $550 and it provides 2" lift up to 400 lbs.
