While I love the concept of a diesel in the Tacoma with tonnes of low end torque and 30-50% greater range on a tank of fuel, we don't have a lot of engine options available here in North America. If you import a diesel engine from abroad, parts availability will be difficult. The engines are heavier than gas engines and would probably require the suspension to be beefed up. Matching a transmission and bell housing will probably be challenging too even if you find something in North America, and will likely require extensive fabrication and machining, new engine mounts, along with electronics hacks, computer, etc. I think the cost and difficulty of swapping to a diesel engine make it difficult to justify.

This. I was looking through my old photos of my airguns and all the mods I was doing to them, adding rails, bipods, grips, etc. The airgun photos came a stop after I got this thing in my driveway

Yep they are Canadian, sure they import chineesium and re-brand it, but who cares. :notsure:

Jeremiah and I have been very happy with their product line. He bought his Kinetic rope almost 3 years ago, and its still in great condition. We use it all the time. So when I was pretty happy to spend less and get some decent items in my recovery kit. None of their stuff has failed us yet.

He had a soft shackle fail, but it was user error. He had to attach it around something that he should not have that had a sharp edge on 1 side, when getting his wife's Subaru unstuck, didn't have a choice. Chose to sacrifice the soft shackle to get it out.

only used em once once on the road in the week that i've had them. I'm still waiting for the ditch light mounts to move in to move them to the front.

well you can see how they look in the photos. spots are actual spots and both the spots and floods flow a narrow beam far forward. they have a bit of weight to them vs the old pods.

my old pods were 18W pods (10-30v, so lets use 12V as it's directly to the batter), 6 LEDs in the old pods, 18w/12v= 1.5A draw. 18w/6 LEDs = 3W LEDs used.
new Auxbeam pods are rated 30W. (12-80V, so use 12v again), 2 LEDs in each pod. 30w/12V = 2.5A draw per pod. 30W/2 LEDs = 15W LEDs inside the unit.

so they'll be obviously brighter, but not sure 100% on longevity. just had them for a week now. another thing to note is that they don't have a protective leds? not sure how to explain it but look at these photos
the polycarb inside is also the lens. it's so weird and i wasn't able to learn about that being the case until i got them. no one has mentioned it before.

We had a snow flurry yesterday and about 3inches of snow fell, had a bunch of snow inside the pod but it was easy enough to clear out...

    Advertise like a shameless whore!
they didn't have the pods i wanted in stock and then were removed off the website afterwards...
so i went with the Auxbeam pods

I'm going back to the range after the lockdown is lifted.
