Radio Switch mounting

Has anyone here attempted to put switches for their LEDs in the second slot of an aftermarket single din radio?
I think this would be a pretty good location as it wouldn’t require any modifications to the stock dash pieces.

 

we do, but not for that cutout, we make it for the 2nd gen with a single din opening under.
