Front End Clunk

    All right, I need those of out there with a tuned ear to listen to this video and let me know if it sounds familiar. I get a clunking sound from the front end when I go through a dip in the road.

    Mine does the same. I believe it is coming from the metal splash pan under the oil filter. After an oil change is when I noticed this.

    I usually go right after skid plate when I hear that. Loosen it off and readjust it tighter, see if it helps.

    Mine does the same. The source of the noise was my running boards. When I go off curbs and into dips or speed bumps, the body roll of the truck cause the running board brackets to make a little noise but it’s not going to fall off.
