Has anyone found a match for the TRD Pro Skid plate in a rattle can? Looking to touch up some spots as well as match my winch fairlead. Appreciate the help!

I'd be interested in this also. When my TRD skid plate was delivered, it had a dime sized chip out of the front corner which exposed the base aluminum. I ended up mixing some white and gray spray paint that I had in my garage and dabbing the area with that. I got it kinda close to matching, but not spot on.

Why not repaint the whole thing in a rustolum or Krylon color of choice making future touch ups easy.

Or use a urethane paint (like floor paint) if you want something a bit more durable.

That's certainly possible though I kind of like the look of the silver they use and I run black lettering to match the truck accents.

Has anyone removed the TRD letters from the factory skidplate and just painted the metal underneath in lieu of replacing the letters? If so, how did you fill the holes?

I thought of ordering those but I ended up just removing the letters figuring with the wheeling I do they'll just come off again. I painted the skid plate black and then painted red the void where the letters were as well as the oil filter cover. It's already pretty beat up with lots of scratches and dings (you can see in the pic below it's already scratched up since I painted it), so I'm not going to put a lot of effort into keeping it looking showroom condition. I will have to say that I'm impressed with the quality of the design of the skid plate, and the aluminum has held up better than I would have thought. If and when I build my own front bumper/winch, I'd like to try and work the design around the skid plate so I can keep it.

I'm interested in the paint match as well (or as close as possible). I'm considering getting the transfer case and fuel tank skids and it would be cool (as well as save me some money) to paint them myself, matching the TRD skid color.

I ended up just removing the plastic letters and painting what was left red. Looks fine to me and no one except the guy changing my oil (yours truly) will ever see the holes. See my post above for the pic.
