    Coincidence?
I recently took my 2011 Tacoma to my mechanic because of performance issues. He told me code P2121 came up and replaced the accelerator pedal position sensor. When I picked it up yesterday all was working fine with that. But as I was driving home the A/C light started to blink. This had never happened before. I turned the A/C all the way to cold and it blew cold air so I don't think it has to do with refrigerant.

When I started it today the AC button was on and the truck felt like it was going to stall (and smelled a bit like rubber was burning). So I turned off the AC and it seemed ok. As I came to a stop sign I pushed the A/C button again and this time the truck stalled. I turned A/C off and the car started up with no issue (and the smell went away).

So my question is could this be related to the work that was just done or is it merely a coincidence and if so what is the problem? The truck has 30K miles.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Sounds like your A/C compressor locked up, you need to see if you can turn the hub of the compressor by hand, if you can't and the clutch looks burnt it's time for an A/C system rebuild.
    Is it related, probably not.
