My Tacoma is my work truck and I would like to have her be a hybrid of an overland rig and a gardening truck. Anyways, I know it's not much, but these are still improvements, and I thought I would give my input on the pop and lock tailgate lock installation.

    1. Engine air filter converted to K&N (filter only)
    2. Cabin filter swapped to K&N
    3. Installed a pop and lock tailgate lock. For anyone who has an 09 ACCESS cab which is not listed on the install instructions, your wires are Blue/black, and Blue/Red. I ran the wire up the passenger side because it was just easier. I did no drilling of any holes to get the wire in the cab. I ran it through the same grommet where the cabin air filter tube runs. The wire was long enough to go under the carpet and over to the driver's side kick panel where I tapped in to the blue/black and blue/red coming from the WHITE 10 PIN plug that leads in to the drivers door. I know a lot of people ran to the passengers side and under the seat, which also allows the mechanism to unlock on the second unlock press, but I didn't mind how it unlocks on the first press. There was plenty of wire to run on either side, and do any option, but this was easiest for me. The model I installed was the PL-8521. It was a pain in the ass to figure out the wiring considering all the different combinations there could be, but overall, I'm glad it's on and working, and that I did it myself.
    4. replaced the lock on my leer camper. I had bought the camper used and need to replace after driving across the US.
5.I recently did a tune up on her, also needed after the big trip we made.

That's all for now. Exhaust upgrade is next, any suggestions? I have the V6
