currently checking out a used truck and the dealer doesn't have much info on the lift. they say pro comp and 35" tires. i dont wanna buy a truck that has been heavily modified, and 33" is as big as i'd like to go. is this a crappy lift? how hard to undo? I haven't got a chance to go see in person, it's pretty far away. will head out soon.

drop bracket lifts are a lotta work time to undo. if that's your main consideration then move to a truck that hasn't been cut on so much.

so there wouldn't be a moderately easy way to get this back down to a 2.5/3" lift?

If I’m not mistaken, bracket lifts require frame crossmember cutting in order to fit the front bracket

It may be normal/correct but would a TRD Sport also have the SR5 badging? My TRD Off Road does not. If not correct it could be a red flag.

Looks good, 33's are a little small for 6" lifts. I would stick to 35's if I had a 6" with kings.

It's not for everyone, and even with kings they can ride a little rough.

It’s definitely built right. I’m not a big fan of bracket lifts but there’s a few unicorns out there that I do like, this being one of them

Earlier Sport models had the SR5 package as an option. Went away around 2009 or so
