Hey! I have that Toro bottle! got it from Mexico a really long time ago too. I didn't open it for the longest time, I don't remember what it tasted like. Never found it in the US.

I opened it. Not very impressed. Tried it first straight. Will try again over a little ice.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure I bought it for the bottle. Back then I didn't know what good tequila was.

Fell for this one too. Great bottle, tequila was decent. Kept the bottle and I'm not sure what to do with it. does anyone keep their cool liquor bottles and what do you do with them?

The wife and I love the Kirkland brand from Costco, we do like a bottle a month, any other good recommendations out there similar? Can’t really beat the 20$ price or whatever it is

Save and display them! Some may be limited collector bottles.

I’ll keep my eyes out for them.

PS, Clasa Azul bottles make nice decorations.

Altos is pretty decent. Get the anejo one. It's at Meijers and other liquor stores here in michigan.

I think we have a Total wine here, I've been to some in other states. They seem to have everything. Haven't seen your wife's drink but I will keep my eyes out and maybe give it a try.

So I think I may have a problem. I've moved on from having a beer after work to have a large margarita on the rocks. I get home from work at 6:30AM, sit out on the back deck with the dogs, and have a drink before going to bed. Didn't think much of it until I finished a 750ml bottle in less than a week. I usually don't drink more than 4-5 beer on my 7 day work week, so a whole bottle of tequila in about 5 days seems like a lot.

About the only hard liqueur I drink is rum and tequila. Currently using Herradura silver for my margaritas, but I've got a bottle of Suaza silver as back up when times are hard. When I'm not working and really enjoying things, I have Casamigos reposado and anejo, Petron reposado, and a few various brands I didn't buy but have acquired. Cabo Wabo blanco, 1800 reposado, some variety of El Jimador and a couple more brands I can't remember. People tend to give me their tequila, usually unopened.

Next on my list to buy for evenings is Teremana reposado.

Anyway, I'm not a fancy drinker but do enjoy my tequila and rum. Never developed a taste for whisky, scotch or vodka.
