    Hi All,

Are there 2 different spline counts for 3rd Gen factory CV's?

I searched and searched and cannot find reference to multiple spline counts on the 3rd gen Tacomas. RCV only shows the one applicable from 05-Current, Total Chaos doesnt mention a different spline count for the extended axles, when I broke my first CV I just picked a joint off a 2018 at the yard, etc. All of this points me to the fact that there is only one type and I can't find any reference to multiple CV joint spline count options.

Despite this I am getting repeated requests from CVJ to confirm the spline count for my DCSB 2020 SR5. They state there are 2 different styles.

Can anyone elaborate? I am trying to get a spare +2" extended CV made.

    Regards,
    MW

Splines are the same from 2005 to 2021.

Yeah. Got them to admit that finally. I was thinking I had missed something.
