I know there are 1,000,000,000 threads on this but damn someone just point me in the right direction.

2017 tacoma off road double cab

i camp in tents and go offroading. I might be buying a small enclosed trailer that loaded will weigh around 3500lbs. I have kings up front and kings in the back with SPC control arms (not installed yet, waiting to figure out with rear leaf pack situation. I am looking for a 1.5" lift up front and 2-2.5" in the rear

    option 1:
ICON RXT leaf pack - going to run me around $900CAD

    option 2:
came across someone selling SKY JACKER add a leafs for $150CAD

Pros and Cons of my two options for my set up please!

Add a leaf is delaying the inevitable on an inefficient factory pack.

You went all out so far, get Deavers or the Icon and be done

I am unhappy with my Dakar’s and would not recommend them. And as said above, an AAL won’t get you 2+ inches of rear lift, especially with weight.

Another vote for a leaf pack and great choice on the icons. They're fantastic.

    same shit as everyone else
You already know the answer to this question if you're asking it. I rather quickly researched my way away from AALs based on my weight carrying needs and the crappy factory leafs. I have the OME Dakar packs in medium duty. I can always add an additional OME leaf designed to work with that pack if need be which is a nice option.
