    Introducing the Taco Jerry

So I've had my Tacoma for several years and whenever I needed to carry extra gas or water it was always sliding around in the bed. I decided to solve this by designing a bracket that would mount to the bed rails to keep them from sliding around. Fits 2nd and 3rd Gens.

    -THICK GAUGE ALUMINUM (won't rust)
    -ANIT THEFT FASTENERS
    -MADE IN VIRGINIA
    -OPTIONAL LOCKING/STRAP
    -OPTIONS FOR POWDER COATED

Note: I just finished a batch of 18 but plan to make more in the future.

Look good! Have you about a way to lock the can in the carrier?

No, not yet. I wanted to see how this batch did. Assuming it goes well I might add a locking feature in the future.

A bunch of Meso Custom stuff.
Looks great! I’ll encourage you to manufacture a decent mount for an 11pound propane tank at a fair price as well!

I wonder if a sideways mount would be beneficial for some, especially with a tonneau.

It all depends on how your Tonneau fits. Here is two pics show that it is basically flush with the bed edge.

Do you have a pic of your 11lb propane tank in your bed? Could give me some ideas for the next project.

I can’t tell from the photos...does it hang from the rails, or does the bed floor bear the weight? Looks good...

the bed floor bears the weight but the rail mount keeps it in place.
