I just received and installed my new Extang Trifecta 2.0 soft fold tonneau for my 2020 Tacoma TRD short bed . I own a 2008 and 2015 with basically the same cover and had no problems. I installed the new one properly out doors in 0 degree whether but the seal on the rear tailgate sits up about a quarter inch with the spring clamps and brackets on correctly the only way they can be installed. I called customer service and they said to take the top off and let it warm up because the cold whether has shrunk it and it’ll seal properly when warm . Anyone have any experience with this issue ?

Too much to name for this little space
From my experience with doing anything truck related in the cold is that you shouldn't. Anything rubber, vinyl, or leather will shrink on you and what you think might be a good install will turn out to be bad when it warms up. Yes, wait until it's warm and welcome to TW
