Hopefully no frame damage. Looks like they smashed into you pretty good. Hopefully no one seriously injured(saw the air bag deployed on the at-fault vehicle). Good time to get a steel bumper provided there’s no frame damage.:fingerscrossed:

Sounds like the parts guy asked the right question to get you what you needed. What part of that is upsetting you?

How does the gap look between the cab and the bed? My 2014 was totaled by a similar hit, you could see the bed pushed down and in towards the cap.

Yeah, you guys were right.. I guess it wasn't set in all the way. I was thinking it was odd that light escaped from the back at night, but now it sits much more flush and the only light is from the holes in the front.

I used a Claybar on my two week old SR5, the added Griots Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax. the SiO2 stuff.
Great shine now. some detail forums say it gets shinier after a few coats.
It was 33 degrees today so it took a bit to get the garage temp to 55 degrees to do the work.
    But worth the effort.

Well darn I was feeling pretty optimistic but it’s a few millimeters different (passenger side I can run my pointer finger all the way down w 1 mm space and drivers side I can run my pointer finger to the lower 1/4 and it stops

Just FYI the bed has some wiggle room in terms of "square" with the cab regardless of your damage. I moved mine around [like, 0.5" to the drivers side] by loosening the bolts in the bed a bit and sliding it.

I like many did not care for those small plastic stock radio control knobs. I considered buying those silicon rings some have used and also those Hondo Garage knobs. But then I remembered I had a set of nice billet aluminum knobs I took off my Corvette before I sold it.

Since the Taco mounting posts were recessed too deep to use the knobs as is, I took the Taco knobs and trimmed them down to just the post and the flat base and glued them to the Vette knobs using some E6000 adhesive. I then grabbed a rattle can of black paint and gave them a few coats. I think they turned out looking pretty good!.

Installed TRD CAI and 2020 pro black exhaust. Install was easy and took two hours. Not much of a difference but I feel like it handles a tiny bit better.

*Located in San Marcos Tx - I now have the stock intake and exhaust left over if anyone is interested

Thanks! I gained only around .65" as advertised using the circlip location #2.. To start, my rake difference was only .75" at on the drivers side and 1.125 on the passenger stock. So with the Taco lean, I decided to not go with the 1.1 circlip location #3. Found it interesting that I now I have around a .25" taco lean. I measured from the wheel well to the ground with a laser measure..

Hi- cool install :). Been thinking about buying the TRD exhaust also. May I ask how much you paid and where you purchased it from? Thanks

Here’s a view of mine for reference, frame was bent. I don’t think yours looks as bad. Hoping the best for you!
