Took this in progress shot. Took longer than expected which is why I was still working in dark. I screwed up by not lifting the frame high enough on the stands before dissembling everything so I was kinda stuck for a bit trying to slide aal/pin underneath. I fixed that on the other side and it went much smoother

I knew I recognized that place from the pics. I live just down the street. And I'm pretty sure I've seen your taco before since not many of us have the softoppers around here. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Fingers crossed it's not that bad.

I think so too. But with all things being equal, it's been a hard sell here in Mississippi. Lot of "hard liners" don't recognize the new flag. Which is fine. I get the arguments they make. 10-15 years ago, I sang those same arguments.

But it was time MS came into the 21st century. I'm no "progressive," but we are often looked down upon, butt end of jokes, and etc. However, maybe this way we can start to change that image just a little bit at a time.

Well update on KTJO driver side grab handle:

It FINALLY came in yesterday. Looks a little beat up. Of course, no thanks to USPS.

    20210130_092521.jpg

And my Suburu tweeters came in as well. Hoping to kill 2 birds with one stone this afternoon after work.

The new flag is nice but where did you find a place selling patches with state flags?

They are pretty common here in Vermont. I see 2-4 of them everyday on my way to the job. Tradesman like myself often go for them. Need the longer bed for tools and material, and don’t need to carry passengers. I didn’t want the longer wheel base of the DCLB

Found it on Etsy. A seller named "Buckup Tactical."

Which is funny because it arrived on Friday. I get informed delivery from the post office for my PO Box. I was looking at the email that came and couldn't tell what in the hades was coming "Buckup Tactical" from NC. When I went and got the mail and opened it, it became obvious what it was. But it threw me for a loop for what in the world was coming from NC named "Buckup Tactical."

And I need to order a US flag as well. Prob be after next payday.

Cool thanks for the link they have some interesting stuff. I found this site googling for state flag patches https://www.flagpatchshop.com/

I seem to have started a collection recently my self.

For anyone doesn’t know about or was curious about the Black Sheep Audio sound deadening kit from runnin4tacos. It’s a pre cut template for the doors-inner and outer panels, and behind the rear seat. They are NOT a perfect fit in some areas by any means but it’s a hell of a lot better job than I could’ve done. It’s pricey but the time savings alone was worth it to me. They even threw in some extra sound deadening material, a set of panel removal tools, and a roller. Nice touch.

I hear you. I'm leaving the politics out. I'm just commenting on the strong vexillology. Handsome color scheme, recognizable from far, simple symbols... I can say the same thing about the Southern Cross. Delaware might be the worst.

Do you find it oddly satisfying to open and close your doors now?

Seeing this makes me feel good about the job i did a few days ago.

Didn't do anything to it today but it is our 3 year anniversary together. Financed for 5 years at .9% and making extra payments. Only one payment left and it's payed off. Not as fast as others but glad I knocked 2 years off of the payments. Good feeling knowing I actually own it. :)

    Edit. before and after
