Anybody have any idea if this alignment is anything to be concerned about?
They installed 2” levelling kit and did the alignment and said this red is nothing to be concerned about.
    Truck tracks straight.
I generally see red and assume it’s bad.
    Wondering what factory specs are.

    A few.
Caster is out of spec. Once u go past 2 inches it using takes installing aftermarket control arms to be able to adjust to specs.

It’s 2” kit they said they couldn’t get it any closer. Is there any risk of damage or premature wear on any components that you know of?
If they can’t get it right I may ask them to just take it out
Weird part is they’re showing it out of spec prior to installing the kit.....the truck had 30kms on it

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
without upper arms to correct caster.. theres not much you can do.. if youre not rubbing. there will be no abnormal tire wear from castor, and its pretty even side to side so it shouldn't pull because of it.. Big thing is the steering may feel a bit more sluggish and it may not like going AS straight as stock.. but i'd take low castor numbers over in the red camber.. since camber or tow will eat the tires.

solution? aftermarket uppers arms... nature of the beast, you lift these trucks, you lose castor

but castor like this case, will not harm the tires.. just maybe the "feel"

Put a 2 inch lift on mine. No problems with getting it aligned. The tech said it was out, but didn’t have any issues getting it right. Might think about getting a second opinion.

Even with a 2” lift and stock UCAs it should be possible to get caster higher

They didn’t even adjust it. Same before and after for caster. That’s half assed, IMO.

But as said, it won’t wear stuff out. If you don’t have complaints about how it drives/tracks then leave it

It’s common to see red for caster, most of us lifted run 4+ degrees of positive, which is out of factory spec the other direction.

I believe stock off the assembly line it’s in the 2-2.5 degree range:thumbsup:

Another thing to take into account, it sounds like u had the alignment done right after the lift was installed so it didnt get a chance to settle before doing the alignment.

95B35D0D-8679-4A8C-9D12-78523986B8C6.jpg IMO get upper control arms unless it rides nice. With those numbers I would doubt it on highway. Camber should be lower also IMO.

Whatt would is do on the highway if anything?
I ask because I could swear I feel a very mild vibration at 80-100km/hr.
Tire shop says it’s the nature of the KO2’s they put on. I wouldn’t know I’ve never ran 265/70/17 Load C KO2s.
I had another tire shop check the tires and they found the tires were not balanced but even after balancing that “feeling” at higher speeds never went away.
Would caster being out cause a vibration or just pull?
    Cause she runs straight.

I’m no expert. Learned a lot FROM alignment threads. Once I ran with new UCA’s truck drives great. I had wondering , truck wouldn’t track straight.

Ah, mine tracks straight but as mentioned I feel like there’s a very mild vibration.
My tire shop says it’s totally normally cause they’re “more aggressive tires”.
Drive line angles seem fine, they did install the diff drop so only thing I could think of was that caster was showing out in red.

Vibration from aggressive tires is expected. Castor shouldn’t cause any vibrations at the numbers you have.

honestly if it drives fine to you, I wouldn’t worry about it. Your numbers are better than some of the 2” lifted tacos I’ve had come in. Camber and castor is a balancing act on these trucks. In a lifted situation, castor my goal is positive as much as I can with as close to 0 camber as possible
