    Agreed... very difficult question to answer. So many brands and variations out there. I would have to 2nd that vote for N*Fab. They are a great product and competitively priced.

    That being said... what are your plans for your truck? If you plan on off-roading, I would suggest looking into sliders. They make great sliders that are 100% bolt on and have an angle so that they act as a step as well... kind of the best of both worlds! But added protection! Check out CBI, Cali Raised, Tacoma Beast and RCI. They have great products available!

    Your gonna have to give more information what you want. Protection, vs ease of egress, vs cost. I would vote for for sliders, but lots of different brand make good steps.

    I prefer the OEM Predator Pro step/nerf bars. Except they are not great off-road, especially rock crawling.
