Just picked up a 21 tacoma and I have a Race Face tailgate mat. I'm looking for a folding tonneau cover that I can use while using the mat. I also have a motorcycle i would like to haul. How hard are these covers to remove or can I simply fold it up and jam the front tire of the bike in the front of the bed?

I have a cheap soft rollup Tyger tonneau and use it with my Dakine tailgate mat. I can’t close and latch the tonneau over the mat with the tailgate closed - not enough leverage. But it’s easy to close the tonneau and then slam the tailgate shut. Been doing this for a few years with no issues. I don’t haul motorcycles with this truck, but at least with the 5’ bed, the rollup can be rolled up tight and squished right up against the back window and provide full bed length. And only block the lowest 2-3” of rear window ... not even visible. Unless you really want a hard tri-fold, I recommend the Tyger soft tonneau. There’s a whole thread about them here with happy owners. Just over $200.
