Is it risky to go that low?

 

Mmm i don’t think so. Usually, the lower the more smoother the trail. So I’ve been told and have experienced as you can tell.

what’s the Lowest you’ve gone?

 

the day I went from cement to army green......

 

Cement was my 2nd choice, after AG.

 

It’s a good color. Got a lot of compliments on my 18 sport the 2 years I had it. Just something about that army green though.....

Bummer, but it gives you a good excuse to upgrade the bumper. Were the hood and headlight damaged? From the pic they seem to have escaped unscathed.

255/85/16s are also known as pizza cutters since they're taller and skinnier. They're 33" tires but wont rub since they're skinnier.

 

been wanting to switch to skinnies once my originals are done for. what tire did you go with?

 

I have the Cooper ST Maxx. I love em so far. Have almost 10k on em. They aren’t the best on hard pack and ice but do great in fresh snow and slushy conditions. They are pretty good in sand/dirt as well. Haven’t had them in mud yet, not to much of that here in Colorado

 

Make sure to keep your old cracked bumper. It'll be less painful for you to cut it if you ever decide to go with an aftermarket bumper! Everything is replaceable, so as long as you're safe....nothing else matters!

Nice - my sport wasn’t 4WD but always wished I had it , now I do. My cement sport was better on gas 20-24mpg but I’m loving this loaded AG OR even if I had to give up a little gas mileage. I fell in love the AG pro last year - beautiful truck!! Was glad they offered it on ORs this year so I could afford one ...lol

 

on the 255s, are the weight a lot lower than the 285s?

 

Beautiful! Are the taillights different denotes model year change, or just a Pro tail are diff?

 

I know you didn’t quote me but I think I can help. The 255’s are 58lbs vs. 62lbs for the 285’s. After doing the math, I lost about 1-2 mpg, but I did get a tonneau cover at the same time which probably helped a lil
