I just wanna start with letting everyone that I understand that there are MANY threads on here about leveling kits and I could do some research. Which I have but I haven’t come across this question. So here it goes.

By installing A leveling kit on a stock Tacoma 2021 Tacoma RWD SR5 do I need to replace the shocks and struts as well?
Do I need longer Sway bars?
Do I need to do I fully replace anything in the suspension?

I ask because it’s a newer car and I am honestly afraid of installing a leveling kit and in the long run something snapping for being to far apart, etc.

Leveling kits are much more affordable than a Full suspends lift and it is my daily driver and I don’t take it off roaring at all. I’m always on the highways and is basically for looks and hopefully fitting bigger tires like some
    265/75/16 or 275/70/16.

I’m still figuring things out and I’d love some guidance. Thank you so much

The cheapest way would be to add a 2” spacer on top of the stock coilovers. They usually run around $100. You wouldn’t need to buy anything else other than that. You will need an alignment after installing.

Lifting the front over 2.5” will require aftermarket UCA’s (upper control arms) and those typically cost around $600. You may notice ride quality will be more harsh with the spacer lift.

This ^. Just remember op the spacer will measure 1” tall and will give 2” of lift.

Exactly, throw a 1" or so spacer in there and you'll be all set!

so would you recommend doing a 2.5 spacer lift?
    Or strictly stay at 2”

You can do 2.5 no problem, but just to clarify, 2.5" of lift is 1.25" spacer

Its an extra leaf spring that gets added to your rear leaf pack to give you a bit more lift

Pretty much all the leveling kits are gonna be a 2” front and 1” back. If you only want to lift the front you could do a 1/2”(that would yield approximately 1” of lift) spacer in the front but that more than likely will require longer studs installed on the coilovers.
