Keeping Your 3Gen For A Long Time?

I'm leasing my Taco, but I'm already pretty much convinced that I'm going to keep it when my lease is up. I'm completely in love with this truck.

 

Wait until you get to 60. Then 70 looks awfully young.

I once had an A/C relay go out on a 13yr old 4R with 180+k miles, no way to prevent that.

But if I can eliminate the usual suspects, I’m better off.

 

Keeping mine for a long time. Unless it starts betraying me and becoming a money pit.

 

This was my first truck and I wanted to see if it was a good fit. It is. That said, if a 30 MPG Tundra launches later this year, I will take a look at it when my lease is up. I may also look at the new Frontier. In all likelihood, however, I will just buy it out and keep it until kinks are worked out of the Gen4 Tacoma--or longer.

 

so when are the Gen 4 Tacos coming out?

 

So what’s a Gen 4 taco? One without meat? Considering the push to all electric and other misguided attempts to neuter the world that would make sense.
