Alright guys last time I posted on here you guys were able to inform me on my truck and I got new leaf springs and a whole new frame on my 2008 taco for free. I’m asking for more help. When I start my truck up for about 30-45 seconds it makes a winding noise when I push on the gas and it goes away. Anyone else have this issue? I have a video I’m trying to upload

Could be alternator, power steering, or fan clutch

Hear it more when cold? Fan clutch most likely. Does it quiet down after it warms up?

Do you have an auto or a manual?

Could be clutch throw out bearing on the V6 or I4, or pilot bearing if you have a 4cyl manual.

Yes it’s only when the vehicle starts up and after a minute it goes away. Started to happen once weather got really cold. Not sure if it’s just a coincidence with the weather change or if is has something to do with the problem.

    It’s a V6 automatic.

Also not sure if this is a new problem or might have to do with the original post, but now my windshield wipers will not turn off at all and the washer fluid is not coming out. (It’s snowing at the moment).

Sounds like you got moisture in the fuse/relay box.

Is there snow packed at the base of the wipers so they can't hit ''park?'' If you see snow or ice at the bottom of the windshield, remove it all and see if the wipers will stop. As far as no washers, it's likely iced and frozen [the lines] because you don't have a solvent in it with a low freeze point.

All cleared out, and washer fluid was working all morning and it just started while I was driving. My hood is not aligned right due to a prior accident so I’m assuming what someone said above about water getting into a fuse box could be causing the issues.
