I was told by Toyota today they could not complete a lift on my Tacoma due to not having a lift kit for the 2018 models they only had Livy kits for the 2020 models. They said if they installed it, it would cause a sensor trouble. Anyone else heard this?

Most will say find a reputable shop, that is not a dealer, to do the lift. Plenty of lifts for all years of Tacoma's.

I went with the dealer doing my lift because I have excellent report with them AND they stand behind the warranty if something does go wrong (Toyota factory/extended warranty).
