How long have you owned one? No issues? Happy with it, I presume (since you purchased another)?

Just installed the Sprint Booster last night.
This truck now drives like it should have from the factory. Got it set at sport 6 and it just feels right. Race settings are waaay too much for me. I like how small the control is, and the fact that I can set it, then unplug the control and just carry on with whatever setting I have it on. No one would ever know it's there. Will keep an eye out for the check engine light as I hear some users have had issues. As far as the 1/2 hour commute to work this morning...I was on cloud 9.

I wanted to try a pedal commander too, but at 400+ no way, I was digging around the other day on Amazon and found a different knock off brand for 100$(Canadian , 72$ for US folks) so I figured Id try it, had it for a couple days now, setting P2.6 which is default is too much for me, just breathe on the pedal and the tires chirp on take off, I backed it down to P1.7and its noticeably better through out the driving range, not that my truck was sluggish before, but after using it I realize how much better it is. I have not even tried any of the P3 settings, and likely wont.
truck up-shifts and powers nicely now, I notice on the highway going up gentle or steep hills or even trying to overtake a car, it does not downshift like before, it speeds up with less pedal input, accelerating without down shifting, where before throttle posn would tell trans to down shift, bottom line for 100$ worth every dollar,

iKiKin Car Electronic Throttle Response Controller 9 Drive Modes.

I've actually been a little disappointed in mine recently. When it's working which is 98% of the time, it's freaking awesome, but lately it seems to be going in and out randomly for a few seconds at a time. I'm not sure what is happening with it since it's plugged in all of the time, and it's not throwing any codes.

Got mine for Christmas, as predicted.

it’s pretty good. After the first day I was disappointed. But after using it for a few weeks, I’d say it’s worth it. It does exactly what it says it does. No more no less. But the ability to adjust gas pedal sensitivity is worth some thing. Doesn’t add HP, obviously. I’d say it’s just marginally worth it for the price. What I mean is if I didn’t Receive it as a a gift would I buy it again? Probably yes, but not a priority.

It’s been for sure a good addition. I think it’ll help AT people more than MT. I lended to a friend with AT and he is gonna buy one now lol. so there.

It definitely makes a world of difference, but for some reason my truck is acting up with it now. It did it again yesterday morning, I started pulling away from my house and everything was fine. I got to the stop sign at the end of the road and it's like my truck went into limp mode without actually going into limp mode. I turned off the PC and after about 5 minutes my truck was acting normal again. Right now I still have it turned off until I can figure out what's going on.

I installed one in my 2012 v6 a year ago. Off the line even on lower settings like city 1 or 2 the truck is too jumpy which makes city driving or any slow maneuvering really annoying. Theres just too big of a jump right at the start. Once you're moving its nice but all in all its not worth it imo. You kinda get used to it and the truck starts to feel the same as before - prob cuz ur not really changing much.

Also had some problems. It would throw the truck into limp mode randomly about once a week and turn the check engine light on. I uninstalled it after a couple months of that but I recently put it back on again after all but forgetting about it. So far no issues, but I honestly wouldnt miss it if it broke and i had to toss it.

As much as I like mine, I'm thinking about pulling it off and selling it.

I'm sorry, but these devices just seem to me to be a substitute for mastering one of the fundamental skills necessary to drive a vehicle. Throttle control ranks right up there with learning how to use the clutch or brakes. I take no issue with those who need a little technical assist to help them with throttle control. And the argument "well if you haven't tried it........" is valid. The day my right foot can't make my truck go faster by pushing harder on the pedal is the day I might buy one.

Good points but I believe that the "throttle lag" can't be controlled by the foot. On the flip side, I've read that some of the cheaper units out there have had some reliability issues and this would concern me. When in sub zero weather, the last thing I want to do is to get out and put it back to stock. Another item of concern is how this might affect mpg's. Tacomas aren't known for their fuel thriftiness and I make every effort to stretch those gallons to go as far as possible.

Just some points that might be worthy of consideration.....

I have been told by a friend of mine who drives a Colorado that my Tacoma has a "noticeable" throttle lag. I have owned "dozens" of vehicles and have "adapted" to every one of them and their "personalities". Maybe I do have a "lag" and I have adapted my driving skills to compensate, to the point that it is just not an issue. On the other hand, anything that might affect reliability is a non starter, regardless of the price. Maybe apples and oranges, but kind of reminds me of learning to use a clutch. They engage differently in different vehicles, and you adapt, then don't think much about it afterwords.

If I could get a tune for a decent price for my 2nd Gen so I can change the throttle response and shift patterns, then I would for sure sell my PC.

When I put 32" tires on 2015 v6 I really noticed a throttle lag/sluggish.... as I frequently tow, in 4th, I noted no lag... not much pep either when towing.

However, nowadays when driving around town I just put in 4th and seems to not have the "lag" near as much. When I get on the interstate I kick into D/5.
