That's the Nissan Navara in Europe / South America. But by Nissan's teaser it seems we can expect something similar in N/A.

Is that the concept for the Navara or the actual truck?

The actual 2021 Navara. It's a mid-cycle refresh, definitely an improvement.

Seems like that's the Navara, here's the actual pic they're pulling their expectation from. Design in the middle.

Looks Honda Ridgelinish to me. I put 185K on an 05 frontier...the boxy looking Frontier. In goldish puke color they offered...but it was a 4x4 and got me to the beach. Last impulse buy ever though.

A little of this and a little of that.
I like the looks of that, and yeah, if what they sell here in N.A. is the Navara, then they should complete well against Tacoma, Ranger, Ridgeline, etc. The style is on par with the Ranger, IMO.

My brother has had a couple Frontier trucks. They’ve been solid for him and his usage.

Where this engine is made should make anyone stay away. It's from the same plant as the Titan 5.6L, and Nissan can't figure out why the engine keeps scorching in cylinder 7. Before I quit working for a Nissan dealer (dealership was slow and Nissan is a straight up shit product) we were replacing 1-2 5.6 engines a week, and the TItans are not very popular in Canada.

Everywhere but North America the mid size trucks are looking like this. Toyota ran the Hilux in the Dakar not the Tacoma. When you check out the Aussies they have some cool builds, the trucks look good with some mods.

Looks very nice and Tacoma like from side profile. I would seriously consider one of these as the 2018 pro 4x rental I had for a couple Months really impressed me in off road handling

    WOW. I HATE THESE HEADLIGHTS.

    upload_2021-2-4_13-11-47.jpg

BUT otherwise I dig it. I've always liked the frontier, it's a nice truck - was always cheap and reliable, nothing flashy nothing fancy. I'm concerned they will be priced competitive to Tacomas and Rangers now though. Yeah they might have the substance backup to be worth that, but the frontier was my number 2 choice behind the tacoma since it would have been 10k or more cheaper. Someone after my own heart did the math on reddit and it showed that it would take like 350k+ miles for the better MPG of the tacoma to pay off for the more expensive price tag.

Ultimately - I had wanted a tacoma for years, I knew if I didn't get one, I would trade in for one. At least this way I can scratch that itch and from here on out, I can buy sensible. Next vehicle: Nissan Leaf!
