2nd and 3rd Gen Exhaust Compatibility?

    Has anyone ever tried or had experience swapping a 2nd gen TRD exhaust onto a 3rd gen?

    From what I've read in my research is that as long as the wheelbases are the same everything should match up but I have yet to find a user who actually went through with it without running into any issues.

    This exhaust is from a 2nd gen access cab long bed. I have a 3rd gen double cab short bed. Any insight or advise would be greatly appreciated! See a great deal on the exhaust locally that I want to jump on.
