Lower it like we used to in the 80s. Once it's slammed, then put amps and a 30" subwoofer in the bed. Fire extinguisher on the "A" pillars and a Wink full length mirror. Hula girl on the dash optional. Then start rollin yo! :)

    LOL! Looks just like mine!
I've done zero 'Performance' .. 'Suspension' ... 'Audio' .. etc etc anything.
All my 'mods' have been Creature Comfort things .. Dash cover.. Seat covers .. LED bulbs in the interior lighting ... Window 'vents' ...
I'm finding the rig absolutely more than fine/great.
My only complaint/question would be that for some reason Toyota seems to think I need 157 cup holders. Other than that, I love my truck.

I haven't done much to my truck, the mods I've done that I'd do again are a bed mat and a toolbox in the bed. I wouldn't get a brush guard again, pretty much useless and will cause more damage than good in the event of a wreck, but I thought it would look cool.

After that based on the pictures of your truck, I'd tint the windows, get black wheels, and a subscription car wash!

I am done modding cars. Spent way too much modding and racing when younger.

    So I’d leave it alone.

I have to agree with you. Been there, done that... For many decades. Call me crazy, but I have a hard time believing that the aftermarket stuff you find on Summit/Jegs/etc ... While maybe more HD, ... Do their engineers know more than the Toyota engineers?
Where there is a problem that is soooo egregious, that the only thing to fix it 'proper' is to buy aftermarket stuff?
My thoughts are .. If you wanna build some outrageous OR machine,. Go buy some cheap-ass Chevy truck and modify the hell out of THAT ... Go for it.

Ok, just to clarify some things. One, I already have a list of items I want to get for my truck, second, I have done my research, and third, this was more of a curiosity of what people would come up with, I am genuinely curious in seeing everyone's own designs and tastes. Maybe putting in the money part was a misunderstanding, but the main reason I put that in there is so if any new people come onto the forums and are looking at getting stuff, they could see the post and see all of your guy's posts. Apologies if I caused some drama over this. Never was my intention. Also I've already made a post on what I wanna do for my truck, did it in my introduction post.

Like I said, all I wanted to do, is you were given this truck, (fresh out of the dealership, not in the condition it is atm, should have clarified that as well, thats on me) and were told, turn this truck into your dream truck, what modifications would you get. Hope I'm making this more easy to understand.

In all honesty, I should have just posted photos from the dealership instead of my dirty ass truck, so that's also on me.

S'all good, buddy, no harm done. Almost every one of us has posted a comment that went over like a lead balloon at one time or another. Yours is pretty tame by comparison actually. It's best to remember that the opinions of the peanut gallery, whether supportive or antagonistic, mean diddly squat. Don't take it personally, don't defend your position, just come back with a dirtier joke.:cookiemonster:

And welcome to TW. Some of us are lunatics.

Everyone starts somewhere, both with your truck and on TW!
You should go start a thread in the Build section, that's an easy place to find inspiration.

Lol the problem was asking what others would do...
I think there are two ways to mod:
One way is to put "generic" mods on like lift, black wheels, some lights, etc. These are acceptable mods that are popular with most people and generic enough so dealers can do it and sell them. They range from installing a bed mat up to full lift and wheels and and.

The second way is to be unique. Install a crazy wrap, give it loud pipes and a Carolina lean, fuzzy dash cover with pink lighted wheels, etc.

Point is both ways are fine but you can see the vast differences between both.

Bottom line, you do you and who cares what a bunch of internet strangers think.

What we do best is to help when people have a problem or an issue. We have doctors, trash men, electricians, lawyers, mechanics, technicians, oil field workers, crooks, thieves and engineers who post here. With the exception of lawyers, It's a pretty good group...but we will rarely agree on cosmetics.
