I’ve done a couple google searches but can’t seem to find why the Auto LSD light came on in my truck. I was driving on a bright sunny day no water or anything on the road and it came on. Anyone know what would cause it? Didn’t come back on once I turned my truck off and back on.

Are you sure it was the AutoLSD light? That shouldn’t come on unless you push the AutoLSD/TRAC/VSC button. There are several other indicator lights, some of which are activated automatically under certain conditions.

Auto LSD only comes on for 2 reasons, error in the combo meter, or the ABS control module sent the signal.

You'd need to scan the ABS module for why it tripped the error breifly.

Common on these trucks is rear axle harnesses and rear axle speed sensors contaminated with oil from an axle leak.

I don’t have an answer for you. Many moons ago I had the collision avoidance light come on and I had no clue and had to google it. My buddy in the back seat (who had a few to drink) was convinced it was a low oil light, but I was sure it was not. I think it’s normal in 4lo and some other situations where the camera can’t resolve what’s in front of it.
