Smacked the drivers side mirror on the garage backing out this morning. Is this something that can be replaced without replacing the entire mirror. I can replace the entire mirror but would like to avoid that if possible.
Can I buy just the plastic trim and replace it?

If you have the piece try glue (Gorilla or JB weld)

You may see the crack but better than missing piece

I think the shell and the trim are separate pieces, but I don't think you can buy it separately. Snap the mirror out and look @ the assembly. If you can replace the trim, pick a full one up at a yard, take it apart, and use that.

Only separate parts are mirror cover, the glass, and turn signal lamp.

New assy is about 50 bucks. Your painted part looks clean and can just transfer over. Alternatively, just get 2 in black and be done with it.

I did find most of the pieces, so I glued them back together. Gonna try gluing it back on.
