So I just got my retrofitted headlights back without realizing that they would come with a bunch of computers and extra wires that I have no idea what to do with. Hoping I can get some direction. I’ve asked the guy who did the headlights for me but he’s real busy and hard to pin down, and my truck is already apart with the old headlights out... help!!! Also these headlights were supposed to be for an SR5 3rd gen Tacoma (I have a 2016 TRD Sport) some of the extra wires are supposed to make it work with my truck... I’ll attach pictures below.

Pictures and info on the retrofit components you paid for would be helpful. Something doesn't sound right if you have a TRD, but had SR5 headlights retrofitted. The wiring is different between the trim levels.

From what I can see, it looks like you had a bi-xenon retro fit done since you have D2S ballasts, igniters, bulbs and a relay. The red/black wires coming out of the back of your headlights are the high beam connectors. You just need to connect those to a high beam splitter that connects to the OEM high beam input.
Connect the HD relay to your battery and ground, then connect the corresponding ends to your OEM low beam input and ballasts. There are install instructions online to make it easier.
The 4 wires (black, brown, white, yellow) coming from the DRL/turn signal/parking light area is weird. On an SR5 you'd have 3 wires in this spot; ground, parking, DRL/Turn signal. Since you have a TRD, you're DRL and turn signal wires are separated, but they aren't typically all located in this area for TRD models...as far as I know.
The 3 wires with the green/black jacketing are Profile products, not sure what exactly you had installed since there isn't a picture of the front of the headlights or pictures of what's inside the Profile boxes. It could be halos, light strips, Profile High lens 2.0, etc.. Without more info on what those are, it's hard to tell you how to connect them.
@no vtec 4me could probably assist since he is one of the bigger headlight retrofitters on TW.

Looks like he left you with some loose ends to tie up on your own. He really should help walk you through the install, not just say “with all this stuff your lights will work”. I’d try reaching out and telling him you need some clearer instructions.

He’s offered his help, but yeah that’s what I was thinking. Paid a lot of money for this and he told me it would all be plug and play when I received them. Was not expecting to have to do all this work myself haha. Thanks for the info Kairide, anyone else with input please let me know, appreciated!

The fact that the bulbs are not even installed is mind boggling to me. You have some work ahead of you to get that all done and actually ready to install. If you can post a more organized photo that shows everything you have, and a photo of the headlights so we can see exactly what you have going on in there I, or some others here, should be able to help.

Each headlight has a demon eye plus drls with full rgb capabilities, also with HIDs installed. What confused me was the amount of work that went into installing the HIDs, otherwise I wouldn’t have went with them. Both headlights have 3 computers plus the color controller, ballasts and relay for the HIDs. My friend pulled an adapter from my oem headlights to plug into that open wired connection you see next to the duct tape on the pictures I posted. Everything ended up being pretty much plug and play once I figured that out. Thanks for trying to help though.

The HIDs are more work, but the wiring is pretty straight forward once you figure out the layout:
relay —> ballast —> igniter —> bulb. The HID retrofit does provides the best light output of the available options.
