    Pretty cool stuff

We had a Kubota when I was in high school, it would dig down through the top layer of slop and goop to the hard packed stuff at the bottom and just motor its way through it all like a.... well... like a tractor

Now which of you jokers just drank my beer while I was typing that?
It was full a second ago and now it's empty... I'll find you...

    IKNEWIT!
    IIIII KNEW IT.

    How's it going tonight?

I see FedEx is dropping off 541lbs of steel on the 9th, that'll be fun to load and unload. That should be everything I need to get the suspension squared up proper.

    You know I am!

It's on the back burner until I get the suspension done.
The plan is to get it lifted, tuned, riding safe and comfortably.
Then it's going back on jack stands for 4.88's, 37's, and a crawl box. This crawl box is different than the last, it'll just replace the tail housing on the transmission.
It'll be a delightfully simple install, 4-6 hours tops if you don't include setting up the cable shifters. It won't even need new driveshafts :D.

    Why 4.88 and not 5.29’s

It will have a ton of gear options available with stacked cases, off road gearing won't be an issue. I'm keeping the diffs geared small for the road. If my math is correct, 4.88's put me right at the lower end of the power band at 70-75mph. It should cruise pretty comfortable at highway speeds without needing to downshift for smaller-ish hills. 8% grades are a different story, I'll just kick in the crawl box for those :p
