DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT TONNEAU THIS IS?

Wondering if anyone has seen this cover before? its on a 2015 double cab long box TRD sport.

It is toyota branded but I cant find any info on it anywhere all I can find is the third gen version.

I have created a problem for myself where I ordered KB Voodoo bed rails but due to the design of this cover it appears I cant use either type of uprights (standard or relocated bed rail models) for them due to the odd design of how the entire cap is one solid piece and extends under the bed cap (see last picture though hard to see)

I have a rooftop tent on the way and now have to remove the tonneau to use the bed bars and potentially need to buy another cover that works with these bars.

looking on more info on the tonneau to see if there is any way to change mounting so it will work somehow I really didn't budget in a new tonneau.

 

I just want to note this is of no fault KB Voodoo it just doesn't seem to work.

 

looks like the same as the extang encore would be nice if I could just buy extang rails but it doesnt seem like they made the encore for tacomas

 

Unfortunately, that's not one of the tonneau covers that is compatible with the KB Voodoo system due to the design. It does work well with others such as the OEM one, however.

 

Yea so I have found out... it would work if it didnt have that 90 degree piece... I am looking at the encore for other 6'2 beds and they dont have that design so was wondering if I could buy just new t rails and find a way to attach them rather than a full new tonneau

 

You need a hard cover tri fold that just sits flush on the top edge of the bed. Any cover that sits on top
of the bed will work with Voodoo bed bars.

Backflip mx4?? What’s weird 05-15 doesn’t lower the rails but 16+ do....I could be wrong.

 

the 2015 model is a rip off of the extang encore style without the front opening feature, I have the correct bars for relocated bed rails its just the way this model has the 90 degree bend that goes under the bed rail it wont let the bars go under it.
