I have been following along with you interesting folks for quite a while, I'm more of a reader than a writer really. As I haven't fallen asleep in the chair yet this evening I thought I would submit my test for your review and roasting.

Note: It has been said by some that I would eat canned dog food if it was microwaved first and I have been witnessed eating pizza that fell on the garage floor -- on a fairly clean spot and cheese side up I feel I should add...

    • 1) What condiments do you prefer for your hot dogs? Think carefully! Gulden's Spicy Brown mustard (if available), onions, chili, most any cheese -- my lazy grilled dogs: microwave and then crisp the outside over the gas stove burner on a fork.
    • 2) What snack cakes Little Debbie’s, Hostess or Drake?! I'm a meat and carbs guy, for the small amount of sweet stuff I eat it comes down to availability.
    • 3) What is your preferred hardware for removing the younglings from the lawn? I live so far out in the boondocks there are no wandering youth, I guess a big zero turn mower would be fun.
    • 4) Dog or Cat? This is not a question about what is on the dinner menu! Had both, would like to have another dog but I'm at a point in my life that where I want less to be responsible for. The cat is fairly low maintenance and makes a really good hot water bottle for sleeping in the chair.
    • 5) Goat Porn? Pondered this... I grew up in town so I don't know what farm folks do in their free time -- nor do i judge.
    • 6) Coffee or Tea? Those are your only choices! Tea, hot, black -- Guilty pleasure: Snapple Peach Ice Tea.
    • 7) Bacon Hell yes I'll eat it but I don't cook it well (really to lazy to cook anything well) -- Conversations with my doctor also suggest I should consume with more moderation -- damn doctors take the fun out of eating -- and food shopping too. (read stupid labels...)
    • 8) Toilet paper rolls, over or under? Comes down to availability, the cabinet is more than an arms length away when in "the seated position". Over goes through a lot more paper if you have an ambitious cat.
    • 9) Daylight Savings good or bad? At work I had a bunch of things on timers so it was a 2X year P-I-A.
    • 10) How do you like your steak cooked? By someone with more skills than me - medium.
    • 11) °C, °K or °F ? I prefer the understandable measures thank you: F, MPH, PSI, the good old foot -- you get it.
    • 12) Miracle whip or mayo? The wife buys mayo, my old buddy the doctor (bastard) says I shouldn't have that either...
There you have it folks, I patiently await your judgement on my submission.

You didn't take the test, until now?

    Man am I slipping.

    you have done well.

Then it's your own damn fault.

Gulden’s Spicy Brown Mustard goes great on a hot dog...it is also a great base for an incredible BBQ sauce. Welcome...though that seems strange to say since you’ve been hanging out in the living room and helping yourself to the beer in the fridge for a while now. I guess we just finally noticed that you were sitting there drinking our beer! Wait???Who are...Oh Hey! Did you save one for me?:rofl:it must mean you fit in!

I plan on replacing my smoke detectors this weekend. I ended up getting some Wago connectors to use instead of wire nuts. They are a simple push on up to four wires.

My grandson has Celiac Disease. He can't eat gluten, so we have to pay the price. He actually prefers Scharr brand. The killer is the GF pizzas. He likes the Freschetta brand and it is $10.99 here. Last time I shopped, I bought 6 because he will go on these kicks where he eats them for days in a row.

While I’m am not Celiac, I do have to manage my carbs. I have a great almond/coconut flour pizza crust recipe that is easy to make and pennies on the dollar cheaper than pre-made. Happy to share the recipe if you are interested.

Thanks. I have several pizza crust recipes I have tried for him. One is made with a Greek yogurt, flour and little else. I thought it was good but he did not. Like many kids, he is picky and I have yet to find a home made crust that suits his taste.

    Good morning :pccoffee: and

Well that pretty much sums it up for me too! :rofl:Plow finally went by just a bit ago and snow stopped. Need to clear the driveway now. Well sometime today....

Hey Dwayne! Yeah the mountains always seem to clear my head too, I totally get it being born and raised a ridge running woodchuck. Hope it is a great day for you! When I get back East I'll have to stop by and try your BBQ Sauce if I get an invite  Dogs doing good and everyday is getting a little better with little chit as he matures. Some days are better than others but seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

As long as I'm cooking I try to do enough for 2 or 3 meals. But when I go to do the leftovers yeah sometimes feels like I'm cooking all over again.

As to not fair my mother used to say I never told you that life was fair. Now she says Golden Years my ass they should be called the Rust Years. I'm starting to see glimpses of that too. She is a smart lady.

for the premade pizzas Freshetta is my preference too - but I only get those a couple times a year. If I gotta bake a damn thing might as well put a little more effort into it and build the pizza I want with a Udi's crust. Still 5 or 6 for a two pack but I keep all the other stuff on hand for various other recipes so overall I figure its more cost effective
