Yup it use to be as popular as flagpole but it was gated in the middle due to a few bad apples. If the roads are not bad I may check out the Crabtree side as well. I havent been in about a year.

I’m thinking accutune’s stage 4 kit (man is it expensive) or something similar if I can piece together slightly used parts at a discount. Still not 100% sure though. 4DCAB319-D59D-4514-A968-5A69B2C8352B.jpg

The Mac is working, I have been taking the keys off and meticulously cleaning. Lesson learned while making “Mac” & Cheese, use legit queso. It hardens once it cools so it’s less likely to seep into tiny spaces and preserves the precious “Mac” internals. Would not recommend with more runny knock off queso.

That accutune kit is NICE with great components. Accutune also custom tunes the shocks for free before sending them to you. Your truck would float on a cloud and be able to take some spirited offroad driving as well. Downside is fox and king have crazy lead times right now.

I had to do that once to a laptop when I was in college. I am not jealous of you in any way. Good luck!

I've actually been eye banging that system as well. Yeah, it's crazy expensive all right. Just for fun, watch the price really jump if you throw in the LCA's. I figure once I finish adding my armor and know what weight I'm carrying, they can dial in the tunage.

Yeah huge +1 from Accutune from me... great company to work with and their tunes have been top notch in my limited experience with their work.

That's actually a pretty fair price and since it's their parts, they probably have a great idea as to how the springs feel for the tuning... just get axle weights ahead of time to send them and you'll be in good shape.

Dude...feel your pain. I spilled a beer (NE IPA) on my MBP 16 last spring. Ended up having to send it in to Apple to get the entire bottom half of the laptop replaced. Had to pay the deductible on my insurance for it, but thank heavens I actually had insurance...was quoted $2100 to fix.

What’s cool is they have so much freaking data on these trucks they don’t ask for axle weights depending on what you’re getting. I have some rear shocks on the way from them and I just described my build and extra bed weight and they knew what to do.

So by way of update, I tried sealing the exhaust joints, but the check engine light (CEL) prevailed. I ended up buying the spark plug defoulers I mentioned earlier since they're only $15 a piece and put them on today. Usually the CEL comes on about 10 to 15 minutes after I reset it but today we drove out to Harpers Ferry and after an hour of driving, so far no CEL. Hopefully I'm not jinxing myself but I will be SOOO stoked if this solved the problem; the CEL was driving me crazy.

We use non foulers on modified cars to slip the downstream 02 sensor out of the stream either straight or drilled out

Yeah, that's exactly what these defoulers are doing. Apparently taking out the secondary cats like I've done can mess with the downstream O2 sensors and slipping the O2 sensors out of the direct airstream solves it.

If this fixes it, I may have to reconsider the URD pipe. Or spend too much money on the aFE version.

The spacers aren't a big deal, I've done them on quite a few cars, but I'd like to give the inspector as little reason as possible to fail me.

Do the aFEs have the secondary cats?

Does it do the reroute like URD does under the tranny?

So you'd still need to get the reroute done? I think you'd be better off with the URD in that case. With your skids on, I dont think the inspector will even see what's going on.

True. True. I really should think things through more often.
