I am looking to go from the 265/70/17 goodyear wrangler duratracs to a 295/70/17 MT

    here is my current setup:

I have plenty of clearance in the rear (maybe minimal trimming at full compression) the front as pictured is my issue

currently riding on Dobinson's MRA/MRR's at 2.4" lift front and rear Dobinson 111r full leafs with MRA/MRR shock. and a Archive Garage U-bolt Flip kit with super bumps. JBAoffroad High Castor UCA's.

I do plan to run a 1/4" spacer on top of the front coil mount to give me roughly another 1/2" of lift. as well as Marlin Crawler Lower Cam tab gusset kit (getting that welded in on the 21st). I already have the ECGS bushing installed.

my question is how far will I have to go on the trimming? I have'nt seen many running a 295/7/17 on a 0 offset rim. I realize CMC may be involved, and possibly plastic heating/molding... I dont rub as of yet after trimming about a 1" piece of the inner fender liner.

Definitely start with CMC and flatten the pinch weld, trim the wheel well liner where the pinch weld was protruding or heat it up to conform it. When you get the wheels/tires mounted, you’ll know where else to remedy the rubbing. The lower corners of the fender flares are a very common spot to trim

YEAH I've been putting off the CMC... probably see if I can get that done on the 21st along with the Marlin Crawler LCA cam gussets are done.. i can cut it off, prep the area, then drive over, and have the plate welded on..

That’ll make perfect sense to have all of that welded on in single trip to the shop
