Full size spare or no

    Do we have active or passive TPMS? Are there sensors mounted in the wheel?

    Resurrecting this one... I'll be going from factory steel to aluminum wheels, and I think the aluminum uses different lug nuts. If I don't get a full sized spare, I'll need to carry around a set of lug nuts to match the spare? Or am I overthinking this?

    Underworld Flex trifold, tinted, TRDPRO grill, TRDPRO shift knob, etc,etc
    Because the “spare” will never be a perfect match anyway, due to the wear of the four that are in service.
    That is also the reason why some ( knowledgeable) dealers won’t install a new tire and a used one on the same axle. The difference can affect traction, electronic controls, ABS and the like, due to the tire circumference difference due to wear on the rest.
    The spare is designed for emergency or temporary use.
