    Esteemed panel -

My niece has recently inherited a 2014 5-lug. Purely for esthetics, she would like to replace the wheels and tires. It currently has 215/70-15's. She would like a larger diameter wheel and, if possible, a taller tire.

My questions to you are: What is the lug pattern and offset she should be looking for in the wheel (what's the factory spec)? and What's the tallest tire she can run without any rubbing or other problems?

    Thanks

Check the https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/5-lug.114/ section of this forum. There are lots of of threads on this subject.
Also check out for OEM wheels specs. The 5 lug is 5x114.3.
The easiest swaps are other Toyota wheels. I've seen Rav4, Highlander and Sienna swaps. There are also Mustang and Lexus wheels which fit.
I've had RAV4 and Highlander wheels on two Tacos, 16" wheels with 225/70R16 and 225/75R16 with no problems.

Thanks. I didn't know about that forum. I spend most of my time in the first-gen forum.

235/75/15 is the biggest you can run reasonably without mods on the stock rim
Check out the 5lug suspension/tire threads
