    Feb 2021 update:

    Nothing has broken (surprise surprise)
    Got the windows Tinted :cool:
    Restored teh current headlights. Heavy oxidation has refreshed the look 10-fold and im looking at doing something with the fog lights now. I realllly want a front bumper but im resisting lol.

    I loved using this kit because you attach the 3 in pad to a drill and that saves your hands big time from wet sanding.

    500 grit (gold disk) / 800 grit (white disk) / 3000 grit (grey) and then polish with the supplied orange cutting pad.

    I've got some meguiars headlight coating on the way so i can make sure it doesn't fad immediately

    Reached out to Andrew and Ambiguous and after some back and forth i settled on this kit. The output from these are supposed to be sick. 4 Bi-Xenon low/high beams are gonna be a massive improvement on the stock halogen setup.

    I bought some used GX470 off FB marketplace for 120$ shipped and remarkably i was able to separate the old internals without damaging the tiny plastic piece that holds it all together.

    BXBuilt had a coupon code for 20% off as well so i had to cash in while it was active :cool:

    Painted the internals black and they'll cure for the next few days until this stuff comes in. Looking forward to getting it back together.

    Update:

    Still havent installed the projectors since i got done spending almost 8K in the tacoma getting it a new engine and ready to wheel at GSMTR in TN next month lol.

    The front end had a terrible squeak, ended up being a bad spring tensioner bearing. Replaced it and we are good as gold.

    It's done boys. I refinished the headlights and got the GX back together.

    All in all it was a month long journey. Came out looking great!

    Next for the GX are brakes.
