I installed this last week and pretty much have it dialed in now (took a little while to get it lined up and tightened down). It's the SE, since I didn't need the additional hauling capacity (I may add a RTT, but I plan on going with a light one). I'm happy with it. Feel free to ask questions.

I got the SE without paint, as to save $320. But the black smooth is by far the best looking.imo.

I ordered mine yesterday. HD smooth with the front runner bars. I’ll post pics in 43 days when I get it.

Gaaaa, when did they start offering smooth? I got mine in Jan of 2018 and love it. Smooth looks great. I wonder if it scratches easily. No marks on mine but I tend to baby it.

It’s expensive, no doubt but it is solid. The package was 200lbs. Mostly aluminum. This thing will never rust. The front runner package is solid as well. Also aluminum. The smooth finish is a bit inaccurate. It is not smooth in any way. Just doesn’t have diamond pattern. It is more like a heavy orange peel finish.

Looks sweet! How was the frontrunner install? I have the SE, so I'm thinking I should have an easier time since it has less crossbars than the HD, but I'm still not looking forward to it.

A couple of notes about the frontrunner rack portion of the product.

They give you 4 equal length track for the front and rear panels and they give you 2 tiny tracks for the stationary center panel. I didn’t install the tiny tracks...yet.

they give you 5 nut/washer/bolt sets for each of the larger tracks. I installed every other one... 3 per track, because the remaining 2 per track land in the cross braces. I will tackle those in nicer weather. Other than that the installation was very easy. You do have to line up the tracks and drill holes in your cover. I used a black silicone product around the screw holes to keep it as water tight as possible.

Very cool. It looks great and you definitely get extra points for installing everything in that weather. Can't wait to see those racks in action.
